Hungry for early browser peeks? Try out Opera Next

If you love experimenting with internal browser releases, you were no doubt excited by yesterday’s news that Google released Chrome Canary for Mac. It’s a channel for internal Chrome builds that are yet to be released to developers. If Opera is your thing, you can now download Opera Next, basically a Canary-like release that offers a glimpse of upcoming features.

Just like Chrome Canary, Opera Next can run alongside the stable release and the two can be kept in sync if you set up Opera Link on both releases.

It’s a work-in-progress code so avoid using it in everyday computing.

Opera Next, which carries a version number of 11.50, comes with a new plug-in capability that lets developers write handy widgets that appear on the start page.
